How to Set Up AeroWave Email in Apple Mail (Mac, iPhone & iPad)

If you use Apple Mail on your Mac, iPhone, or iPad, you can easily connect your AeroWave email account using IMAP. This allows your email to stay synced across all your Apple devices.

Follow the steps below based on the device you’re using.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have these details ready:

• Your full AeroWave email address (e.g. yourname@yourdomain.co.uk)

• Your email password

• Incoming mail server: imap.aerowavehosting.io

• Outgoing mail server: smtp.aerowavehosting.io

Setting Up On Mac (Apple Mail Desktop)

1. Open the Mail app

2. Go to Mail > Add Account

3. Select Other Mail Account and click Continue

4. Enter your full name, AeroWave email address, and password

5. Click Sign In — it may say it can’t verify the account; that’s okay

6. Fill in the following details:

   • Email Address: yourname@yourdomain.co.uk

   • Username: same as your email address

   • Password: your email password

   • Incoming Mail Server: imap.aerowavehosting.io

   • Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.aerowavehosting.io

7. Click Sign In, then select the apps you want to use (Mail and Notes are common)

8. Click Done

Setting Up On iPhone or iPad (iOS & iPad OS)

1. Open Settings

2. Go to Mail > Accounts > Add Account

3. Choose Other

4. Tap Add Mail Account

5. Enter:

   • Name: Your name

   • Email: yourname@yourdomain.co.uk

   • Password: your email password

   • Description: e.g. AeroWave Mail

6. Tap Next — now fill in the server settings:

   • IMAP should be selected

   • Incoming Mail Server:

     • Host Name: imap.aerowavehosting.io

     • Username: your full email address

     • Password: your email password

   • Outgoing Mail Server:

     • Host Name: smtp.aerowavehosting.io

     • Username: your full email address

     • Password: your email password

7. Tap Next and wait for the account to verify

8. Enable Mail (and Notes if you like), then tap Save

Final Checks

Once set up:

• You’ll be able to send and receive emails directly from your Mail app

• If you update your password later, remember to update it here too

• Your emails will stay synced between webmail, Mac, and mobile devices
