How to Set Up AeroWave Email in Microsoft Outlook (Windows & Mac)

If you prefer using Microsoft Outlook to manage your emails, you can easily connect your AeroWave mailbox using IMAP. This setup will keep your messages synced across all your devices, while still giving you the familiar Outlook interface.

Follow the steps below based on whether you’re using Outlook on Windows or Mac.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have the following details ready:

• Your full AeroWave email address (e.g. yourname@yourdomain.co.uk)

• Your email password

• Incoming mail server: imap.aerowavehosting.io

• Outgoing mail server: smtp.aerowavehosting.io

Outlook On Windows

1. Open Outlook

2. Click File in the top-left corner

3. Choose Add Account

4. Enter your full AeroWave email address and click Connect

5. Select IMAP when prompted for account type

6. Enter the server details:

   • Incoming Mail Server (IMAP): imap.aerowavehosting.io

     • Port: 993

     • Encryption: SSL/TLS

   • Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp.aerowavehosting.io

     • Port: 587

     • Encryption: SSL or TLS

7. Enter your email password when prompted

8. Click Next, and Outlook will test the connection

9. If successful, click Done

Outlook On Mac

1. Open Outlook

2. Go to Outlook > Preferences > Accounts

3. Click the + button and choose New Account

4. Enter your full AeroWave email address and click Continue

5. Choose IMAP

6. Fill in the server settings:

   • Incoming Mail Server: imap.aerowavehosting.io

     • Port: 993

     • Encryption: SSL/TLS

   • Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.aerowavehosting.io

     • Port: 587

     • Encryption: SSL or TLS

7. Enter your email password

8. Save the account and exit preferences

9. Outlook will start syncing your mailbox

Need To Update An Existing Account?

If you’ve already added your AeroWave account to Outlook but need to update the settings (e.g. after changing your password), you can:

• Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings (Windows)

• Or Outlook > Preferences > Accounts (Mac)

• Select your AeroWave email account

• Update your password or server details as needed

• Save changes
